What I can promise you

Initial meeting

An obligation free catch up, either face-to-face or via Face time for you to see if I am the right Celebrant for you. This is more important than you think. This is a day that will go down in your own personal history. We need to be able to work well together

Planning meeting

Once you have paid the booking fee and signed my Customer Service Agreement, we will organise another catch up.  At this meeting, you will sign the NOTICE OF INTENDED MARRIAGE, I will sight the Identification Documents and we will get to know each other a whole lot better and questions will be flying both ways. We will cover topics such as:

-        Composition of ceremony, including Music, “I do’s”, rings, etc

-        Outline of ceremony

-        Personal touches

-        Ideas

-        How I can help

Please note that this meeting needs to happen at least 31 days prior to the Ceremony so that IT IS RECEIVED BY ME WITHIN THE LEGAL TIME FRAME.

We will undoubtedly have at least one other meeting to finalise all the details prior to the Ceremony date.

unlimited contact

Feel free to contact me at any stage in the process through email or phone call. I want you to be 100% happy, confident and relaxed with all aspects of your Ceremony.

First draft of script

After I get to know you a little better, learn about you both, your relationship and what you are envisaging for your Ceremony, I will create the ‘first draft’ of your SCRIPT.  I want to tell your story in a way that really reflects both you and your relationship, in all its seriousness and possibly a touch of humour.

final draft of script

We can email back and forth until it is exactly as you had anticipated. I will finalise your draft and send a copy to you both.

on the BIG day

I will arrive at the location at least 30 minutes prior to the set time so as I can set up my PA System, make sure that everything is ready and exactly how you wanted it to be set up (as much as is humanly possible, at any rate)...so as to create the best atmosphere for your ‘big day’.

commemorative marriage certificate

This certificate is for you to keep, signed by yourselves, myself and your witnesses.

OFFICIAL Marriage certificate

In the days following your Ceremony I will REGISTER YOUR MARRIAGE and arrange for the Dept. Of Births, Deaths and Marriages to contact you re your OFFICIAL MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE.

transparency

I am an open and honest person and I would be grateful if you could be the same. This way, no stone will be left unturned as we approach what will be a very personal and intimate time for you both. I want you to feel like you are being married by a close ‘family friend’. And… it is an honour to be standing there with you on such an important day.
